Veggie Rub
When I created this rub, it was done with my sister in mind who is Vegan, and my wife who is "mostly" Vegetarian. As much as I grill plant-based foods such as Tofu and Tempeh and vegetables for them, I knew I needed to give them something so much more than just the traditional salt and pepper. And did I ever hit a homerun with this rub. They love it! It also pairs really well with the other BBQ GUY Rubs.
Cajun Rub
Being that my family originated in Cajun Country, it wasn't difficult to put together the exact ingredients necessary to make an amazing Cajun rub. This rub is exceptionally good on anything that calls for a touch of spice and a little heat, especially seafood, spicy wings, vegetables, etc., and really pairs well with any of the other rubs while you're layering the flavors.
Seafood Rub
This rub is exceptionally good on anything that swims and was created to enhance the natural flavors of any kind of seafood, especially shrimp and fish. Apply it to seafood and to the seafood breading before frying, and if you like spicy, mix this rub with the Cajun rub. Going healthy? This rub is great on baked, broiled, boiled or grilled seafood as well.
This rub is exceptionally good on any protein but was created to enhance the natural flavors of pork. My favorite meats to use this rub on are Smoked Pork Butts, Smoked/Grilled Pork Ribs, Grilled Pork Tenderloins, Grilled Pork Chops, and Venison.
Poultry Rub
This rub is really good on anything that had feathers, whether it be chicken, turkey or any wild game birds. My most favorite way to use this rub is sprinkle it on chicken wings and then coat them with a cornmeal mix and Cajun Rub mixture before frying. You'll never do it any other way.
Beef Rub
This rub is amazing on Steaks, Hamburgers and my favorite, smoked Brisket. I use this rub on Grilled Venison Tenderloins, Grilled Lamb Chops, and often use it as an everyday seasoning in place of salt and pepper.
